Stress of Nurses during the COVID-19 Pandemic: A Literature Review

The COVID-19 pandemic is caused by the Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2 (SARS-Cov-2), has a total of 1,531,005 people in Indonesia confirmed positive for and 42,000 died. increasing number cases made nurses stress as front-liner. This study aims to identify description nurses. systematic literature review identifying cross-sectional study, published 2019-2021, English Indonesian, full-text. electronic database that used was Google Scholar with keywords “Nurses” AND “Stress” “COVID-19”. results obtained 10 articles related factors it. All studies stated were from mild severe. Demographic include age, gender, education level, having children, working status, years services. Meanwhile, situational inconvenience continuous strict use personal protective equipment, being isolation room, lack understanding treating patients, fear infected transmitting virus family, homesickness. An adaptive coping mechanism needed reduce levels front line pandemic.
